Oh well... I admit I'm a sports maniac sometimes..

Soccer. Floorball. Basketball. Badminton. Table Tennis. I'm really into sports. Even though I'm like a jack of all trades, master of none in most of the sports.

But since I started playing floorball after seetoh encouraged me to go for one training session... I got hooked up on it.

Now, alvin wants to challenge me on a one on one showdown... LOL. He has not played floorball for 2 years. I think I'll have a slight edge over him....

Now I really really missed PE on Friday... I mean, I'm the type of guy who is hyperactive in the sports side and "Gentle" and "Demure" on the gentlemanly side.

With every baby step I took, my leg was filled with excruciating pain so much that I was limping about around the benches outside the field... It was terribly painful and I really missed the days when I was a goal-machine, scoring like Ruud Van Nistelrooy...

But now...

I have lost my former self and cannot score as many goals as before...

But now...

I have acquired some skill in this new sport... Floorball... Yes! Dribbling around man-markers, rushing around the unskilled Secondary 1s, leaving them rooted to the ground...

Fuwhaahahaha...

I'm so bad... LOL

14/2/2008...
What a great day... till it happened...

In our daily recess soccer game, the Chinese team were leading 3-2 against the Malay team. I was dribbling the ball around, looking for people to pass to for another attempt at goal. I had just won possesion of the ball from a malay player. All of a sudden, like a shadow of darkness suddenly emerging in thin air, a Malay player began his attempt to do a professional tackle on me.

Time suddenly slowed to a crawl. Whamp! He slid tackled me. Aarghhhh! Nanoseconds later, I did an acrobatic flip to the ground.. I felt the same painful sensation as the last time it happened... It was a feeling I could have gave up even for a scolding! The pain could not be expressed out in words.

That night, I went to see a Chinese physician and he said that I tore my ligament and needed a few days to recover. How I badly wanted to play soccer the next day when I saw them banging in an immunerable number of goals...

Being injured feels disillusioned.. Now I can empatise with Rooney and the rest of the soccer players watching their teammates losing out there but yet cannot do anything...

Wow! I took baby steps to the church. I thought I felt very left out as only my cousins were following me to the church.. But as soon as I ascended from the escalator, a cheerful smile from the youths there made me dispel all my negative thoughts...

The youths who belonged in region 7/8 were simply awesome and lovely... They were affable, sociable, and always had a smile on their faces. I mean... I've went to church before (Sengkang Methodist Church).. But VFC was something more...

They even had their own youth band... drummist, guitarists, lead and side singers... and it was far more high-tech then I've ever seen a church...

It was the CNY celebrations that day and the band was blasting out piece by piece of God-praising songs... We were downstage enjoying ourselves as though it was a disco party...

I could say that, there was a scramble for the ang pow packets stuck below our seats. There were negative and positive ang pow money. WE filtered out all the negative ang pow money and gave the postive to the in-charge...

Soon, everybody gathered in their seats for the exciting part of the show.. Namely, the Rat Dance. The "rats" were supposed to do a dance and points would be added to the winning team in the format 600, 500, 400 pts and so on.... (la di da)...

Then, the spring cleaning started and the region members were supposed to look at the pictures for 5 seconds then arrange themselves according to the picture in 20 seconds. Even though our region lost 250 points, another region lost more than 350 points!!!

Next up was the Pork Floss eating competition. It was not practical as the competitors had to suck the pork floss up using a... straw???? In the end, the in-charge let them gobble up the pork floss... and Canton was last in eating the floss...

Last but not least, Brother Derek led us in a prayer to pray for Jesus to come into our hearts...

Since I am Chinese, of course I collected ang pows (red packets). I collected a substantial amount of money in all of my ang pows.... Some selfish $2... to an enormous $50!!! OMG!

My Chinese New Year resolutions are... ( although a bit too late...)
  1. Collect more ang pow money!!!!
  2. Achieve higher grades for sec 2 CAs and SAs.. at least 75% overall....
  3. More friends (sociable ones like at the church...)
  4. More resolutions...
I hope that all will come through..

Happy CNY 2008!
大吉大利
万事如意
新年快乐!

Wow! My parents just came back from malaysia and bought me a ultra-sized, super-gigantic water- bottle. They've always bought ultra-sized water-bottles for me... But this one is the biggest, most humongous one I've ever seen!!!
Look at how it conforms to the height of the bed!!!
(*Actually, it is just a camera trick!*)

But 2.5 litres of water???? And I'm bringing it along with my ultra-heavy bag???? I have no strength to carry it!!!!

Anyways, congratulations to VS for getting 10.5 for their L1R5 for '0' Levels. After getting 3 silver value-added awards, they might be getting gold this year!!! OMG! Then, the Sustained Achievement Award (Academic) would proudly belong to VS!!! VS Boleh!!!

Now, I've learnt some JavaScript by myself (CCA didn't have time to teach us...), but it was way beyond cool! Spam alert boxes, crazy internet explorers!!!! Fuwhahahaha.. It was as if I'm a demon and the computers were at my mercy.

Boring to say, Projects were aplenty. From English to Design and Tech, we basically had to do projects, projects, projects... ~Very random! /*Blame it all on Harvard having come up with TfU...*/(just kidding...0.0)
