Yesterday was housework day. Sweeping the floor, wash plates, wash toilets, hang curtains etc... It was as if this was a cleaning day. The whole day my sibling and I had to do this, do that... It was totally tiring.
I mean, I don't mind helping out, housework is a good exercise at home apart from being a couch potato and slacking on the sofa, munching on chips. People don't do housework just for fun. It's like, when you have a maid, you would let them do the job for you, but if you do not have a maid, you have to help your parents do the housework, right? I belong to the latter case.
Thus, start helping your parents to do housework. It can be enjoyable if you do it with your siblings, and also in a extremely speedy time...
Signing off,

Today was one of the worst days i have ever experienced in my entire life! Father was fuming mad at us, as if he was carrying Satan's staff and lashing out punishmnets at us.
"Do this!"
"Do that! Or do you want me to cane you!"
I did not know why this happened, but I sincerely hope that he will regain his gentlemanly manner, the way he was before, again...Labels: random

From my experience, when I cross the road, I would wait for the car to stop at the traffic light before I cross the road to avoid any traffic incidents. But it was very unfortunate for my classmates as they were hit head-on by a pick-up lorry. That fateful afternoon, at approximately 2.30pm, I was at the IT Club having a meeting when I received an sms from Wang Xu stating that An Jie had been hit in a car accident. I half-belived him, as he always loved playing pranks on us. After the meeting, at about 5 p.m., I was walking from when I saw Jin Xiang. He told me the same thing as what Wang Xu had said in his sms to me. I realised the truth and quickly dialled over to Yijun's house and his mother
picked up the phone. I asked her if Yijun had came back already. She said that he had not come back yet. I was shocked to hear that as it meant that she did not know of Yijun's plight. I was relieved to hear from Yijun at night that he had only some slight abrasions, but shocked to hear that An Jie had broken his collarbone and coughed out blood. When I heard that an Jie did not shed any tears, I knew that he had finally overcame his sensitivity problems. I may be visiting him tomorrow at KK to check if he is okay. What a fateful day...

Photoshop is a wonderful and powerful image-editing or graphics designing tool that many people use today, for example, in the above blog image, the creator used Photoshop to create this extraordinary picture which wows many people. In advertisements, those shadows effects which made it look 3-D are also made from Photoshop.
Premier Pro, a remarkable video editing software by Adobe, allows us to revolutionise videos like no other. Equipped with a wonderful and easy-to-use interface, one would love to have it. My pers
onal experience made me feel that it is far, far better than many other video-editing software.
Flash and Dreamweaver, bought over from Macromedia, has been re-programmed by the Adobe specialists in their HQ has allowed us to enjoy the luxuries of buttons created by the program.

In other words,
Adobe is really a wonderful company!Labels: Adobe, random

During what we could have dubbed a boring day, we were doing a Reliability project based on claims of the founding of Singapore by a few adapted sources in History lesson. Farquhar claimed that he was the founder of Singapore and deserved credit. Raffles counter-argued Farquhar's claims and said that he was the rightful founder of Singapore. I could make no head or tails of it, thus I decided to rely on Source 3 for reliabilty. Unknowningly, I found out that the source I chosen was the best out of the 3 sources. Rabbit's foot luck!
All of a sudden, the fire alarm rang! Luckily for us, the class were settled down and did not panic like they should have in a case of a fire emergency. After listening intently to the announcement made by Mr Loh, that the fire was at the third floor in Block B, we lined up like primary school kids in twos and walked steadily and calmly towards the evacuation place, the brand-new artificial pitch!
We were made to sit down like dummies in the sweltering hot sun which baked the ground with
a vengeance for 20 whole minutes and the in-charge for the false alarm, Mr Lee Boon Kee, was shouting madly into the loudspeaker when his sounds dissipated into thin air. What a waste of voice.
Soon thereafter, we were sent back to class to continue our boring class lessons...Labels: Assignment 1, random

Floorball. A growing sport. Culture to the fanatics. Passion. Grit-hard determination.
Why is it so popular?
Floorball is a game where players use a stick to hit the ball to score goals. So why do we love it so much?
It is the passion for the sport. Whenever you score anything in a competitive match, you gain a feeling of satisfaction, of glory for the school, of self-achievement, and a moral and confidence boost for the team. You feel a eagerness, a rush of adrenaline to score more goals to defeat the opposing team.
Likewise, the team that concedes a goal loses control and emotion, sometimes even throwing the game away. The pressure is now on them to score more goals to reduce the deficit and maybe even to win the game.
Therefore, floorball is a very exciting sport to play.

All of my personal recounts are written in red, thus it is very easy to identify them.
During the last school holidays in December, from the 7th to the 13th, my father's colleagues and their families, including my family, went overseas to Genting and Ipoh, Malaysia for a seven-day trip. We went to Genting first from the 7th to the 10th, then to Ipoh from the 10th to the 13th.
During our whirlwind stop at Genting, we went to the Theme Parks (both outdoors and indoors) to play. We had so much fun at one of the roller coasters known as the Corkscrew, that we sat on it for about 5 times! The guard controlling the machines had to ban us from sitting on it for the sixth time!

Sitting on the Corkscrew would make one's heart burst for crying out loud. You can simply feel the rush and the thrill of that 200 kilometres per hour ride that you would want to sit on it over and over again! It was simply magnificent!
In Ipoh, one of the highlights was the Lost World of Tambun Theme Park. Furnished with Hot springs, giant-sized rides and hulk-sized portion of water crashing onto us... It was an attraction never to be missed by anyone!
We went rushing towards the theme park rides as soon as we entered the theme park. There was one ride that I would never ever enter again in my entire life! I was engulfed in the inky darkness as soon as I went into the ride. I could not feel anything and it was as though I was in a coma. At long last, I saw light rushing to meet us and I knew it was the end of the ride. I was exhilarated!
We left Malaysia on the fateful day, 13th of December, 2007. We still wished to stay there and not return to Singapore, nagging our parents but it all came to naught. Good things must come to an end. Malaysia is a wonderful place to visit for a holiday.Labels: Assignment 1

Hi all...
The start of a new year, the start of a new blog. Quoting the words of JavaScript masters, the first JavaScript that you learn is none other than an alert box printing out the words, "Hello World!", thus the name of my first post.
My hopes for this year is for me to get better grades than Secondary 1 to achieve my target Subject Comb. of Triple Science and Geography Elective. To achieve this goal, I must put in an extra effort in all of my subjects.
Oh my god! Look at the time now! It is thus unfortunate that my first post be that short. Anyways, wishing all that read my blog a Happy New Year!Labels: Hello World
